Facade/entrance in Rossio Apartments
Our favorite feature of the first floor apartment (second floor to us) --- the tall glass French doors that opened onto a tiny balcony with a full view of Rossio Square. We fell in love with the place then and there!. The room size was generous with lots of space for umbrellas to dry. Kitchenette was cozy but more than adequate. Security was excellent with three doors that required only a "tap" to unlock. Washer and dryer on the same floor with instructions in English. Daily room cleaning with fresh towels was a special but unexpected amenity. The shower was large with two shower heads. Natalie, our landlord, met us at the main door entrance with key card and gave us an introductory tour of the apartment.

In a good location, we have stayed here before but the studio this time was much smaller with no outlook and 43 steps to the room which was a challenge with luggage. The only mirror was in the bathroom so getting ready was limited and not much surface space to put stuff. Multiple bathroom fixings were loose and grout and sealant in shower needed attention. Price per night in two years has increased by 65%. Clean and comfortable , more than one coffee pod per person per day would be welcome. Host communicated well and sorted out issue with electrics quickly .

It is a spacious room, with a kitchen. It is one of those big apartments that was split into a few smaller ones. There is a shared laundry. Great location, so we were able to walk to most of the attractions. The beds were comfortable. The check out time was longer than what you usually get offered. This place also offer an option to store your luggage if you decide to do some sightseeing on the last day. That was really helpful!

Location is excellent. I saw some negative comments regarding the surroundings but they were not accurate, the location felt safe and very central. Beds are comfortable. The place is spot on clean. Shower has a strong water pressure. Air conditioning in the room. Very friendly staff. Bonus tip, if you want that room with the small balcony facing the square, ask for the room called "Pedro Álvares Cabral".

The guy who met us to give us the keycard and show us the room, Leandro, was so friendly and helpful, which got our stay off to a great start, It was in a very central position, near all transport, it was cleaned every day with fresh towels, it had everything we needed, a nice big tv that we could watch Netflix on, there was lots of hot water and the bed was big and very comfortable.
